This page explains how to delete your account and data for Power Leveling, the Android app by Noland Software LLC (package com.powerleveling.app). You can delete your account inside the app, or ask us to do it by email if you no longer have the app.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Power Leveling and tap the Friends tab at the bottom.
- Scroll down to About & legal → Account.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read the summary. Leave Also erase PRs, body metrics and settings on this phone checked to also wipe your workout data from the phone (uncheck it to keep your PRs on this phone).
- Type DELETE and tap Delete account.
- If your account is linked to Google or Facebook, you may be asked to sign in with it once more to confirm it's you.
When it finishes, the app shows Account deleted and restarts with a new, empty profile.
Request deletion without the app
Email brendancribbs@nolandsoftwarellc.com with the subject Delete my Power Leveling account. Include your friend code (shown on the Friends tab, e.g. A1B2C3D4) if you have it. If you don't, tell us your display name and roughly when you used the app so we can find your account. We may reply to confirm the request comes from you.
We complete email requests within 30 days and reply when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: display name, bio, friend code and linked-account IDs (Google / Facebook account ID and display name).
- Your friend code reservation, so the code no longer points to you.
- Your friends: your friends list, and your entry in other users' friend lists.
- Your feed posts, including the hype reactions others gave them.
- Hype reactions you gave on other people's posts.
- Friend-suggestion entries (social index) that matched your Google / Facebook ID to your friend code.
- Your Pro cloud backup, if you had one: workouts, exercises, sets, personal records, body metrics, and the display-name summary under
users/{your account id}/. Proof videos are not in that backup. - The Play purchase token stored for Pro verification (
users/{your account id}/billing/play). - Your personal API keys (stored only as SHA-256 hashes) and the API rate-limit counters for your account.
- Your sign-in account in Firebase Authentication (Google's sign-in service), including any Google or Facebook link and any email address that service held.
- On your phone (if you keep the erase box checked): PRs, proof videos, body metrics, military fitness attempts, friends/feed caches and app settings. The phone copy of workouts is erased with the rest of the local database when that box stays checked.
What may be kept, and for how long
- We don't keep a copy of your deleted cloud data, except where the law requires us to.
- Google, which hosts the app's database and sign-in service, may keep deleted data in its internal backups for a limited period under Google Cloud's data-deletion policy before it's permanently erased.
- Copies already on your friends' phones (for example your name and posts in their cached friends list and feed) stay there until they refresh or reinstall the app; we can't remove data from other people's devices.
- A hype you gave with an older app version on a post your phone never loaded may remain (it contains only an anonymous ID and a time). Email us and we'll remove it.
- If you redeemed a referral code, the App keeps one referral record (
referrals/{your account id}: both account ids, the code, and the time) so that account cannot redeem a second code. Deleting the account in the App does not remove it. Email us and we will delete that record. Ad-free time already given to the other person stays. - If you email us, we keep that email conversation as long as needed to handle your request and for our records.
- If you uncheck the erase box, your workout data stays on your phone until you delete it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall.
